Amick Partisan Ranger and Flying A Books

Flying A Books publishes several Civil War titles as well as many genealogy works.

The book on Amick family history is available at www.lulu.com.  The title is Amick, Emich, Amick, Emmick.  Follow the Into the Wilderness navigation link on the left for more information.

Also under development is the History of the Amick/Emmick family in Germany.  The first book The Emichonen is targeted for 2009 publication.  Wow!  This work is coming along.  so far I have more than 2,000 pages of notes and citations tracing the family back to the Amelungs before 250 AD.  I've collected legends and stories.  Draft is now available at the Lulu store front.

As this work comes together, I'll be taking a break to create a new book Fireside Stories from the Wilderness.  This book covers the stories and legends from the Rhine, there's a great one on Wyrich throughing his brother Emich out the castle window, as well as the stories from the Civil War books.  I've also added some of the post Civil War stories and even one from my own life.  These are short 1 or 2 page stories meant to read at the fire side.  You can find this book now at: Fireside Stories from the Wilderness.

I'm finished up the Book Into the Wilderness that covers the family from 1810 to the Civil War.  This book is now on www.lulu.com .

This is the site for The Amick Partisan Ranger book.  The book is finally available and selling well.

You can purchase now at Amazon.com - buy the book

and at www.barnesandnoble.com.

Use the Navigation on the left to go to the Amick Partisan Ranger Book or the links below.  It includes lists of the soldiers that fought in the Amick companies.

Now Available: Defending the Wilderness

I've submitted this work for an ISBN and this should be out on Amazon shortly.  This time I put the hardback out on retail and left the papereback on www.lulu.com.  This keeps the price of the paper back down but still gets the work some exposure with the hardware out on the retail sites.
